Blog
Hi, I'm Matthias
My passion is helping people structure their workouts in a way that actually fits into their daily lives. The goal isn’t perfection; it’s building habits that are strong enough to withstand busy weeks, bad weather, work stress, and everything else life throws our way.
In other words: turning “I dread exercise…” into something you genuinely want to do.
Maybe we worked out together recently, maybe it was a while ago, or maybe you just found this place because you're interested in working out. Whatever the reason, it's great to have you here.
Every two weeks, there will be a brief piece to get you thinking about movement, training habits, and nutrition—simple ideas to reflect on or try out in your own routine.
Since time and attention are precious, the goal is to keep things brief, practical, and useful.
We always welcome your thoughts and perspectives—whether in the comments, via email, or in person.
“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”

How to Stay Fit as You Age
But this time, I decided to do something different.
I didn’t want to give an immediate answer by giving a lecture and listing all the ways to stay fit.
In our group was a 75-year-old man hiking with us who is really fit for his age.
So I asked HIM how he’d stayed so fit over the years…
Mobility is freedom
We often think of mobility as something athletes work on. But if we practice it regularly, we gain a lot, too: The freedom to move comfortably in our daily lives.
The freedom to participate in sports and activities you enjoy.
The freedom to keep doing the things that matter to you as you get older.
Why Strength Training Matters
Strength training is more than a fitness trend – it's one of the most important foundations for a healthy, resilient body. Why muscles count as a resource and how just 2–3 sessions a week can make all the difference, Matthias explains in his latest blog post.
